Helmholtz Enterprise Call 2024:  Submit applications til 27th September

The Helmholtz Enterprise (HE) spin-off program promotes entrepreneurial and spin-off activities of scientists within the Helmholtz Association. A number of start-ups at HZDR have already benefited from that funding, including TheiaX, Biconex or i3 Membrane.

HE consists of two separate modules that can be applied for independently of each other:

• The Field Study Fellowship finances the centers or their institutes a budget for personnel and material costs to find out customer needs through interviews and market research.
• The Spin-off-Program finances the establishment of start-up teams working at the center and the implementation of start-ups. If required, external team members and the acquisition of start-up skills by the internal team, e.g. through participation in entrepreneurship training, are also financed.

Deadline for submission of applications is September 27, 2024. Applications are submitted via the transfer office – please contact your innovation manager.
